The Exmoor Ultra 2013 covers 40 miles from Minehead – Lynmouth – Minehead with an ascent on the route of 8300 feet, as told by Sharon Walton.

Exmoor Ultra

A challenging course on the outskirts of Exmoor along the South West Coast Path taking runners over a very undulating 40 miles. The route is varied with many climbs and descents and takes in woodland trails and exposed coastal paths giving runners of all abilities a great running experience.

Yorkshire Ultra

A demanding winter event over 50 miles (marathon distance available).  An amount of navigational skill will be required as conditions are likely to be snowy and some running will be in darkness.  The course is varied and offers coastal and moorland running.

Welsh Ultra

A varied coastal course run mainly on track and trail with some limited stretches on tarmac.  The race starts and finishes at a large campsite and takes you along the magnificent Welsh coastal path of North Anglesey.  The course is clear with no need for significant navigation and runners will find themselves faced with varied going from flat and fast to some more significant short, sharp climbs.
