Cotswold Outdoor have an interesting blog which doesn’t seem to have much to read about but does includes the main mountain areas of England including the North Pennines, Lake District, Northern fells, Yorkshire Dales, Peak District and Dartmoor. Clicking through to The Cheviots, for example, reveals a walking route map of the area but sadly not much else.
